5days Gorilla Safari And Water Rafting

Brief Itinerary:

Day 1: Pick up from hotel address in Kampala/Entebbe - drive to Bwindi (home of gorillas)
Day 2: Morning Gorilla Trekking and Afternoon Drive to Mbarara.
Day 3: Transfer from Mbarara to Jinja

Day 4: Morning water rafting in the Nile River and evening visit source of the Nile.
Day 5: Drive back to - Kampala/Entebbe airport.

Detailed Itinerary:

Day 1: Pick up from a hotel in Kampala OR hotel address in Entebbe near the airport, And drive to Bwindi. Meet and greet our company represetative at the hotel address after having your breakfast and head to the biologically diverse and unique magnificent green impenetrable rainforest in southwestern Uganda, which sustains almost half of the world’s mountain gorilla population. You will have a stopover in Kayabwe for photographs at the Uganda equator and souvenir shopping accompanied with an enroute lunch in Mbarara town. Proceed to bwindi, the home of gorillas in Uganda. Have dinner and an overnight stay at the booked lodge, Category: (Silverback lodge - Luxury option), (Gorilla Mist camp - Midrange option), (Buhoma Rest Camp - Budget option).

 

Day 2: Gorilla tracking in bwindi- Life-time memorable experience. After morning breakfast, you will get ready, along with your packed lunches to embark on the lifetime memorable experience in this magnificent forest for gorilla tracking. The trail you use may reward you with exciting moments of the giant mountain gorillas in uganda, this will be a reward of the ultimate gorilla experience' as well as other primates that inhabit the forest. This may take you about 4-5 hrs in the jungle.

Later in the afternoon, take a drive to Mbarara to reduce next day journey. You will return to the lodge for dinner and peaceful overnight at the lodge.

Day 3: Drive to Jinja - This same day if time allows, visit the source of NIle River.

Along the journeypast Kampala city, wuth hot lunch at one of the best restuarants. Proceed to Jinja. Upon arrival, you will check in at your lodge for dinner at lodge.

Day 4: Going on to water-rafting starting point - Source of Nile river and visit source of river Nile. After an early breakfast, you will embark on the drive to Jinja. Along the journey, visit Mabira forest (nature guided walk on that day. You will go and visit the source of River Nile, the longest river in Africa. you will enjoy warm lunch at the source of river Nile. Retire for dinner and overnight in JinjaStriated Heron among others. You will return to the lodge for dinner and peaceful overnight..

 

 

Day 5: After a healthy breakfast, prepare return back to Kampala. Along the journey, you will enjoy warm lunch break. Proceed to Kampala / Entebbe airport. drop off back to your hotel address. OR Connect with your International home flight at Entebbe International airport.
